TMC MPs protest in parliament, accusing the government. functioning as undemocratic

Trinamool Congress members of Parliament on Wednesday protested outside the parliament building, linking black cloth around their mouths, accusing the central government via CBI subordinate state governments and not giving the opposition the opportunity to speak.

"We tested before. The opposition did not raise the issue as allowing Parliament. Yesterday, when we raised the issue, they moved from microphones. This is contrary to democratic norms. This is not the way to lead the government," said the head of TMC Saugata Roy.

Earlier on Tuesday, the party protested in the same way. They also opposed the reduction of funds allocated by national laws of Mahatma Gandhi guaranteed employment villagers (MNREGA).
TMC MPs had on Monday, draped himself in black headscarves and staged a protest in front of the Parliament against the arrest of West Bengal minister Madan Mitra Transportation over his alleged involvement in the multi-crore scam Saradha cheat fund.
