Cricket test against the leading countries has long been a challenge for the West Indies.

They followed on 351 runs behind shortly after tea, and while South Africa's attack clearly reduced the intensity of the second day, they still lost Devon Smith and Kraigg Braithwaite to reduce the deficit to 275.
